SIGNAL 7

Legal

Terms of service

The agreement between you and Signal 7 when you use the platform, its apps, its bots and its keys.

Last updated Draft pending legal review: the operating entity and the governing law and venue are not yet settled

1. Acceptance

In short

By using Signal 7 you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you agree for that company.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name] (“Signal 7”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Signal 7 website and platform, the Signal 7 Studio desktop app, the Signal 7 phone app, our Telegram bots, and access through MCP or API keys (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, accepting an invitation or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and “you” includes it. A separate signed agreement with us, if any, prevails where it conflicts with these terms.

2. Early access

In short

Signal 7 is invite-only and still being built. Features change, and some are experimental.

The Service is in early access. Accounts are opened by invitation or from a waitlist at our discretion. We add, change and remove features often, and some are marked or understood as experimental. Early-access features are provided as they are, may be less reliable than the rest of the Service, and may be withdrawn.

3. Accounts, brands and organisations

In short

Keep your sign-in safe. Brand and organisation owners decide who has access and what they can do.

You must give accurate information, be at least 18, and keep your credentials, sessions and keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at security@signal7.io if you think your account has been compromised; you can end every other session yourself from Settings.

Work in Signal 7 is organised into organisations and brands. The owner and administrators of a brand or organisation invite members, assign roles (owner, admin, user, viewer), add provider keys, connect accounts, set spend caps, model access and moderation, and control the content within it. If you join someone else’s brand, its owner controls the content you add there, and may remove your access.

4. Acceptable use

In short

Use Signal 7 lawfully, for content you have the right to use, and do not attack it or use it to harm others.

You must not use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • create or publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, sexually exploits minors, incites violence, or deceives people about who made it in a way that could cause harm (including impersonating a real person or brand without permission);
  • send spam, or publish to accounts and channels you are not authorised to use;
  • generate content that breaks the usage policies of the AI provider that produces it;
  • probe, scan or test the Service’s security other than under our disclosure policy, or get around access controls, rate limits, spend caps or moderation;
  • overload, disrupt, reverse engineer or copy the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
  • resell or share access, or share keys outside the people they were issued for.

We may remove content or limit access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules.

5. Your content

In short

You keep the rights in what you bring and what you make. You give us only the licence we need to run the Service for you.

“Your content” is everything you or your brand puts into the Service or imports from connected services, and the output the Service produces for you. As between you and us, you keep all rights in it.

You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, back up, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you — for example to store it, analyse it for your brand, send it to an AI provider to generate on your instruction, and publish it where you tell us to. The licence ends when your content is deleted from the Service, except for copies held in backups until those backups expire, and anything you have published to a third party.

Your content is processed to provide the features you ask for. Where a feature uses AI, the content it needs is sent to the AI providers listed in our Privacy policy for that purpose.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights and permissions it needs — including rights in imported material, music, footage, likenesses and trademarks, and any consent needed for personal data of other people you add (such as contacts and leads). For that personal data we act as your processor.

Copyright complaints. If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, write to legal@signal7.io with the work, where it appears, your contact details, and a statement that you are authorised and believe in good faith that the use is not permitted. We will act on valid notices and may close repeat infringers’ accounts.

6. AI output and publishing

In short

AI output can be wrong, unoriginal or unsuitable. Review it before you rely on it or publish it; you are responsible for what you publish.

The Service uses AI models from third parties. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, similar to other people’s work, or unsuitable for your purpose, and similar prompts may produce similar output for other users. We do not guarantee that output is correct, original or free of third-party rights, and it is not professional (legal, financial, medical or investment) advice.

You decide what is published. By default, posts wait for a person: automatic publishing is off unless a brand’s owner switches it on for that brand, and approval gates hold pieces until someone approves them. Changes proposed through an MCP key are staged for review and never applied on their own. Output leaving the Service for people who did not write it is checked by automated moderation as your brand has set it; that check is a safeguard, not a guarantee.

Agents. When you ask an agent, flow or bot to act for you (draft, publish, reply, run a step), it acts with your permissions, and each action is recorded in the brand’s agent trail. You are responsible for actions you start or approve.

Market and trading information shown in the Service is for information only and is not investment advice.

7. Your keys and third-party services

In short

When your brand uses its own provider key or a connected account, that provider’s terms apply and its charges are yours.

A brand may add its own key for an AI or media provider (“bring your own key”). Requests to that provider then run on your key, under your agreement with the provider, and the provider bills you directly. You are responsible for complying with that provider’s terms and usage policies, for the key’s limits and charges, and for revoking it with the provider if it is exposed. We check a key with its provider before we store it, encrypt it at rest, and never show it again.

The Service connects to third-party services you choose (social networks, ad platforms, WordPress, Shopify, Google, Telegram and others). We are not responsible for those services, their availability or changes to their APIs, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

8. MCP and API access

In short

Keys are scoped to a brand, what they may do, and what they may know. Keep them secret and within their limits.

A brand administrator may issue MCP and API keys. Each key is limited to one brand, to the actions its scopes allow, and to the information its lens allows (creative, strategy or full). A key is shown once; we keep only a hash. You are responsible for every request made with a key you issue, for keeping keys secret, and for revoking keys you no longer need. We may rate-limit, change or retire API and MCP tools, and will try to give notice of breaking changes.

9. Plans, fees and billing

In short

Paid plans are billed through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. Usage beyond a plan may be metered.

Some features require a paid plan. The plan, its price and what it includes are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled; you can cancel from billing settings and keep access until the end of the paid period. Where a plan includes metered usage (for example AI usage on our keys), it is measured by our usage ledger and billed as described for that plan. Brands can set a monthly spend cap; when it is reached, further metered calls are refused.

Payments are processed by Stripe under its terms. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you pay where applicable. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are not refundable. We may change prices for future periods; we will tell you at least 30 days before a change, and it applies from your next renewal. If payment fails we may suspend paid features after notice.

10. Suspension and termination

In short

You can leave at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the Service at risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time, and close your account by writing to privacy@signal7.io. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where reasonable, if you materially break these terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we can, we will let you export your content before closure, and for at least 30 days after a closure that was not for your breach.

On termination your right to use the Service ends, and we delete your content as described in the Privacy policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (content rights, fees owed, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.

11. Our property and your feedback

In short

The Service is ours. Feedback you send can be used to improve it.

The Service, its software, design and documentation, and the Signal 7 name and marks, belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription and nothing else. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.

12. Disclaimers

In short

The Service is provided as it is. We do our best, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service, or any output, will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or accurate, or that content will never be lost: keep your own copies of what matters. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

13. Limitation of liability

In short

Our total liability is capped, and we are not liable for indirect losses.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim and US$100.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

14. Indemnity

In short

If your content or your use of the Service gets us sued, you cover it.

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, officers and employees against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these terms or the law, or your use of a third-party service or key through the Service. We will tell you promptly of any claim and let you control its defence, and you will not settle it in a way that admits fault for us without our consent.

15. Governing law and disputes

In short

Which law applies and where disputes are heard.

These terms are governed by the laws of [Governing law], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be heard by the courts of [Courts / venue for disputes], except that either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

16. General

In short

The usual housekeeping.

These terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest continues. Failing to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or a successor to the Service. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.

17. Changes to these terms

In short

We will tell you before material changes take effect.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and close your account.

18. Contact

In short

How to reach us about these terms.

Questions about these terms: legal@signal7.io. Post: [Legal entity name], [Registered address].
